Ebook Publishing Service

Ebook Formatting, Ebook Conversion, Ebook Distribution, and Ebook Promotion Special: Just $49*!

Start Here: Get a Quote or Place an Order

We work with authors and publishers to format and convert books into ebooks, and distribute them to all the major ebook retailers including Amazon, Apple, B&N, Google Play, Ingram, Kobo, Scribd, Baker and Taylor, and our own bookstoreWe then work with our clients to promote their books to the media and the public.  Get started by following these simple steps.

Ebook Formatting.

The first step in the ebook publishing process is to get your document prepared for ebook conversion. This means converting the document to an editable source if necessary, removing page numbers, setting margins, rethinking the layout for an e-reading device, linking table of contents, and more. This is an important step that determines the overall quality of your ebook. Converting a document into an ebook requires manual editing and formatting to make it function properly and look great. An automated conversion poorly done will lead to bad reader reviews and poor sales. Our team of local experts will do our best to ensure that doesn't happen to your book.

Ebook Conversion.

The second step in the ebook publishing process is to convert your .doc, .docx, .pages, .odt, .rtf, or .pdf file into the multiple valid ebook formats (.epub, .mobi, and .pdf) accepted by the retailers.  If you already have a converted and validated .epub file ready for distribution, you pay a one-time fee of just $9 for the submission and distribution of the file (press release distribution not included). We check your converted ebook for quality. You can always use an extra set of eyes looking over your book before it is published. While we convert your book, we correct any obvious errors we see along the way. When the files are converted, we open your ebook on ebook reader simulators to ensure the converted files look professional.

Ebook Distribution / Ebook Submission.

The third step of the ebook publishing process is getting your book out there where readers can easily find it. Through our major online book retailer partners and our relationship with Ingram Digital, your ebook will be sold in the online stores that currently account for over 98% of all ebooks sold. These partners currently include:

  • Amazon (Kindle)
  • Apple/iTunes,Kobo
  • Barnes and Noble (Nook)
  • Ingram (many retailers)
  • Kobo
  • Google Play
  • Baker and Taylor
  • Scribd
  • EbookIt.com Bookstore

You can opt out of any or all of the retail distributors.  Some clients prefer to submit their books themselves, and this is perfectly fine.  If you opt out of all the retail distributors, this is called "conversion only."

We assign your book an ISBN (if it needs one): An "ISBN" is a unique identifying number for your book that is required for some retailers to keep track of sales data and book information—and a listing in Bowker's Books in Print database, which will allow all booksellers to easily find your book. There is no extra charge for these numbers.

Getting Paid!

We pay you. We pay you monthly for all your sales! Our fee is just 15% of the NET payment. That means if your book sells for $10 and the retailer takes $4, our share is just 15% of $6, or $.90. Our fee includes detailed on demand reporting. Updates made to your ebook are billed at just $49/hour.

Not quite ready to move forward yet? No problem! Leave us your name and e-mail, and we will send you free writing resources and specials regarding our service.
