We pay via PayPal and there is no minimum. If we owe you 30 cents, we pay you 30 cents.

If for whatever reason you cannot/will not accept PayPal, we can pay you by paper check except a) we hold all payments until the payment exceeds $100 (USD) and b) there is a $5 paper check processing fee for each payment made. We can only send checks to US addresses.

If you are based in the US and would like the check option, please let us know and we'll put your payments on HOLD. Then, after $100 USD has accumulated, send an e-mail to publishing at eBookIt.com with your eBookIt.com e-mail address, the amount we owe you, and your physical address to mail the check. The $5 will be deducted from the check.

If you send two hundered dollars through pay pal, do I receive 200.00 or is there a fee? They say they will take 2.9%, which is crazy when you will only take 5.00 to send a check.

eBookIt always pays the the fee when sending payments through PayPal. So if your sales reports shows you have earned $200 USD, we'll send a PayPal payment for $200, and we'll pay the fee on it so that you'll receive the full amount.

@Ryan Levesque: Thank you for clearing that up. In that case paypal would be easier for you and me. I appreciate your quick response. I hope you like the book, and of course I am open to ANY suggestions to improve it. I would also like to go with on demand and audiobook when I can, simply don't have the money right now.

@Gauthier: Glad to help...I see you have the PayPal option populated in your client profile(s), so you are all set with that. I look forward to further assisting you with POD and audiobook whenever you are ready.

1. If an author's royalties total $500,000, and the author prefers a check over PayPal, what kind of assurance does the author have that said check would arrive, securely?
2. What is the largest royalty amount that EBookIt has ever paid an author at once?
3. Has EBookIt ever had an author who whose book sold more than a million copies in less than a year?
4. If an author's book we're to become a major success, go viral in the press and on social media, and spark lots of controversy, would EBookIt support the author or abandon him or her to appease the opinions of those who have a problem with the controversy?

@Cornell Martin: Hi Cornell!

1) We have been paying authors for over 7 years with no problems. Not paying authors would be very bad for business. Not only reputation wise, but if we stop paying them, they will pull their books and we will stop making our share of royalties. So to answer your question, it would be business suicide for us NOT to pay an author.

2) Monthy - under $10,000.

3) Not yet.

4) If we accept your book and don't reject it, we will support it. We are a small company, controversy would be great for us!
