A place and time of true idyllic societal living conditions. Thanks to the discovery of new emission-free nuclear energy generated from the PowerPlants that now span the globe. As well as breakthroughs in medicine with the creation of a new miracle drug, Chembal. Life in 2055 is truly the closest humanity has ever come to a utopia. So why does David Nash feel so displaced? David never felt like he quite fit in with the people around him. Now, at the age of 29, David is at a crossroads. He can feel his ChemBal prescription is not having quite the same effect it once did, and his safe life suddenly feels more empty than safe. Time is running out, and David will find himself face to face with the dark reality of this mid-twenty-first century dreamworld.
